I'm sure many of you did not watch the USA versus Spain soccer match in the Confederations Cup. Well, you missed a great game and a fantastic upset over the #1 ranked team in the world. I loved everything about the game (except for the Michael Bradley BS red card) from the hustle and the spot on counter-attacks, to the inspired defense from Oguchi Onyewu, my favorite player.
Regardless of how they do in the finals against Brazil or South Africa, the squad should feel very proud of how they came back from elimination to beat one of the best teams in the world. I can only hope this style of play is built upon for the World Cup next year.
The United States of America, give us enough time and we will beat you at your own game.
